
We are part of the Langley School District and our collection offers a selection of resources and reading materials in English (9-12) as well as in French for the French Immersion Program (10-12).

Borrowing Information:
- Most resources and reading materials can be borrowed for two weeks.
- Please use your student number (Go Card) to sign out resources and reading materials
- Please return resources and reading material by the due date. You can renew any items that are needed for a longer period.
- It is the student's responsibility to keep track of his/her borrowed items and not wait for overdue notices.
- Students are responsible for all items signed out in their name.

- At the end of the school year, all items are due back in the LSS Library on the first Friday in June. Students need to verify that all items signed out are returned to the library. Students must pay for lost or damaged items. Distributions of LSS Yearbooks will be withheld from students with outstanding book loans or assessed fines for damaged items.
Acceptable User Policy (AUP) for Network Access in Langley Secondary School Library
The Internet is an online resource afforded to all students in the Langley School District. The Internet puts up-to-the-minute information, instantaneous communication and audio and video sources and resources at the student's fingertips. Students and staff at LSS may use computers and the Internet to participate in activities that support learning and teaching. Langley Secondary School (LSS), Langley School District (SD #35) and the Provincial Learning Network (PLN) have taken measures to prevent access to inappropriate information; however, we cannot control all accessible information and resources on the Internet. The administration and staff at LSS encourages the ethical use of information found on the Internet.
Please download the LSS AUP and have it signed by your parent or guardian. After that return it to the Teacher Librarian who will will assist you in setting up your account.
